He's Back Y'all

Andy Pettitte is back. Showing that money can buy just about anything (except young pitchers right before they hit their prime). What spot in the lineup you think he will take up? Wang, Pettitte, Moose, Johnson? What's the average age there?

Just checked out ESPN.com's stats on Pettitte (last year he was 14-13 & 4.20 era, but in '05 he was 17-9 & 2.39).

But this is definitely the best thing on his profile page:

" Pronounced: pet-it "

On the contrary dude. If they go for Clemens, I'm buying me a 5-ticket package.

I'm not just being an Yankees apologist, but I actually can get behind this kind of thinking of moves. Go for old-reliables that already know how to pitch and win, and dont be screwing around with young up & comers, develeopment, scouting or any of that shit.

Get winning pitching for 2007. 2008 will figure itself out.

That said, The Big Unit can go fuck himself

Now they need to bring back my man sojo, greates utility player of the last 45 years. Dont worry, they'll sign barry zito in 2010, albert pujols in 2013, and they'll trade for fransisco liriano in 2017.
