Top Ten Albums of 2007

As a wise man once said:
"Alas, 2007 has come and gone and hopefully we have more to show for it than this collection of albums. Oh, let us raise our arms and heads to the Gods, and offer this music in repentance for our many collective sins. We shall pray that our chosen selections are worthy to enter the pantheon of the greats that have come before and will surely come after. Our Gods are not very forgiving Gods but they love to Rock with their Cocks Out. "

too many schaeffers. besides, how many bands do you know that would pull you onstage to sing a figgs song with them at their own NYC record release show? i can think of 3, but its been years since I've spoken to Bruce, and I had a bit of a falling out with Jack White after that whole Von Bondies punch up thing

fair enough. carry on.

I haven't heard the Grainbelt LP yet, but the concert at Lakeside was hands down in the top 5!

Nice lists. judging from what I've seen on this blog, im surprised no one had the Bad Brains album up there. no love for HR and crew? They were easily my favorite band of the '80s, and their new album is absolutely brutal.

I only heard the bad brains album once online, i liked what i heard, but I don't think I got enough of a feel for it. They do kick ass, well at least they did at one point in time.
